lol My Goals for semester 1 in Me and My world are: 1. To pass and get a excelent ressolt. 2. To acually learn somthing about history that interests me. 3. To help me start learning about things for my future, & what i want to do.
To achieve these goals I will need to do the following:
1. Stop talking to people. 2. Get to class on time. 3. Cowoperate and listen. 4. Do my homework. 5. Obay class rules.

What have you learnt in the past month? I have learnt about some bits of history and how it use to be in the 1700’s, how people use to have it harsh and the law was very different. Its surprising how much it has changed in these days. What did you do to help yourself learn? I studied and talked about it with friends and it just kind of stayed in my head. What did you do that made it difficult for you to learn well? Sometimes I talked in class and didn’t concentrate. Who did you work with? Were these effective (good) working relationships? All together I have worked with Justin, Olena, and Mark. When I worked with Justin he did not pay much attention but we got the work done and when I worked with Olena and Mark we did well together. How did you go with meeting your goals for the semester? It was hard trying to figure out what my goals were but at the end of the day I just want to study hard and pass and hopefully learn something very interesting. I love historical/treasure movies because there so much things to learn about the world and things that people don’t know are there from the past. Its fascinating and that’s why I would love to learn things like that.

During the past few weeks: I have learnt a lot abut the past, the first fleet, and how people lived and socialised in those days. I learnt things I never knew… I have learnt about I have learnt about the first fleet, occupations. Crimes and how people us to live. I most enjoyed the SOSE class on Ienjoyed it most when we went to the Tall Ships excursion I think it was very fun. My attitude has I don’t think I have had an attitude problem before My behaviour has I don’t talk as much as I us to. I think I focus much more. My interim report in the subject indicated that I I haven’t read my report yet, I still have to get it from the team leaders. I have worked Well I still have some thinks to do but I thin im working well. I have not Finished some tasks from the past but I’m getting there. My greatest strength is Sticking to my work and doing it all when I want to but sometimes I do get distracted but I can focus. The two areas of my learning that I want to focus on improving are: 1.studieing more 2.listening to the teacher now.. I have gotten better but still need to improve I am happy with My efforts in Sose.

During the Aboriginal unit I most enjoyed our SOSE class When we had to write a story about a picture we had. We worked in groups. During the Aboriginal unit I least enjoyed the SOSE class Doing the problems and causes. SOSE (Me and My World) is Learning about history, and about the world and different cultures. During this first semester in SOSE I have Learned about how the British settled in Australia, how aboriginals were treated and equipment they us to be used and how life us to be in the old days. I work best when Sometimes when I’m with a partner and sometimes alone. I have not Done all my work… I have missed some tasks that I have to catch up on. I wish that I had put more effort in some of my tasks. My attitude to homework has been Normal... I do my homework nearly all the time but I have missed out a couple times. My Semester 1 report will show that Well hopefully ill get a fair mark. The area/s in which I have shown greatest improvement Not mucking around with Mark and Joaquin. My teacher always Shows me what to do. My teacher makes me Do my work. I think that our class wiki is The wiki space is fun sometimes and its something different we can do once in a while instead of paper work. I have shown high expectations when I Do my work and work quality. A second example of how I have demonstrated high expectations is Doing homework and not talking in class.

it’s very true and it’s a good saying to go by. I’m going with the heads J If I use what’s in my head and not my bottom then I could get some were.
I wouldn’t be just a seat warmer.
In class I use my brain but sometimes I just start talking and I loose concentration,
and become a seat warmer, but I’m achieving to not do that at all.

30th July Task You, The Rule Maker I read everyone’s opinions and thoughts on what rules should change and it seems that there are many different views. Most people talk about the school uniform and that hey should be aloud to wear more of the colours and clothes underneath the uniform they want. There were a couple other opinions on allowing mobile phones and getting spares. School Rules Most of the opinions are on how some of the rules are dumb and not fair that why students disobey them. Other students just want to be cool and show off and other just don’t care. RDSC with No School Rules A lot of the students including myself think that that school would be out of control and coming to school would be pointless. Some of the opinions say that there would be heaps of fights, equipment would be broken. The school wouldn’t be cared for and there would be a total different attitude.

Students in 9P2 never try their absolute best. Students in 9P2 always Do most of their work. Student support sessions are stupid because it feels like detention but can help students with their homework and If they need information on a topic that they don’t understand they could spend time with the teacher asking about it.
